Description: Place a declined bench under the bar of the Smith machine. Adjust the Smith machine bar to such a height so that you can easily reach it with your slightly bend arms while lying on the inclined bench. Secure the bar with the safety pins. Then load the bar as needed. Unlatch the bar from the Smith machine by rotating it. Push the bar up so that your arms are almost fully extended. Inhale as you lower the barbell to your chest. Keep your wrists straight at all times. Exhale as you press the barbell back up until your arms are almost fully extended. You have completed your first repetition. Repeat the motion in a controlled way and count your reps.
