Description: Grasp one end of a dumbbell with both hands. Stand with your feet wide apart (sumo stance), pointing 30 to 45 degrees outwards. Let your arms rest on the front of your body so that the other end of the dumbbell hangs between your legs. Keeping your arms fixed and torso upright, inhale as you lower the dumbbell toward the floor by bending your hips and knees. Aim for your thighs to be parallel with the floor. Hold this position for a count of two. Exhale and push yourself back up to a standing position. Repeat the motion in a controlled manner.
