Description: Stand upright, holding a barbell with a shoulder-width, overhand grip. The bar should rest on the front of your thighs. Pull your shoulders back and stick your chest out. Exhale as you pull the bar up towards your chin. Stop when the bar reaches level with your lower or middle chest. Do not pull the bar higher. Hold the position for a count of two. Inhale as you lower the bar back to the starting position. Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
