Exercise overview

Primary muscle group: Legs

Exercise type: Bodyweight

Exercise goal: Strength

Key metric: Repetitions

Average reps per set*: 0

Description: Lift your right foot off the ground, bending the right knee at a 90-degree angle so your right foot is behind you. Extend your arms out in front for balance. Begin to lower your body by bending your left knee, ensuring it stays aligned with your left foot and does not extend past your toes. Continue lowering your body until your left thigh is parallel to the ground, forming a quarter squat, or as far as your flexibility allows. Push through your left foot to raise your body back to the starting position, keeping your right foot off the ground throughout the exercise. Repeat the motion for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs and repeat the same steps.
